Iglesias Maria Eugenia

Hello! I am María Eugenia Iglesias, although I am also known as Sumeiart.
I am an illustrator, 2D animator and freelance artist based in Argentina. My work is deeply inspired by memories, memory and the emotions they evoke, as well as by the delicacy of Japanese prints, the vibrant universe of Van Gogh and the surreal magic of Remedios Varo.

Throughout my career, I have explored different artistic disciplines, from custom illustration to graphic design and animation. I am passionate about creating visual narratives full of meaning, giving life to characters, landscapes and scenes that emotionally connect with those who observe them. My works seek to capture unique moments and tell stories that mix the fantastic with the everyday.

I have completed my studies in the Bachelor of Visual Arts with an orientation in New Media at UMSA, where I am currently developing my thesis. In addition, I obtained a Diploma in Animation from the National University of Tres de Febrero.

Most days, you'll find me daydreaming about new worlds, exploring creative ideas, or working on projects that mix art, technology, and emotion.
